YEAR 1 UPDATE

We’re now one year into our Burn the Ships initiative, and I’m so encouraged by what God has already done. When we began, we believed God was calling us to win Northern Colorado for Christ—no Plan B, no turning back. Over the past year, we’ve seen incredible momentum: more than 30% of our commitments came from first-time givers, we replaced our entire roof, and we’ve continued to see remarkable growth—20% each year for the last three years, record baptisms, and an exploding student ministry. Even more important than the numbers is the spiritual transformation happening week after week as people come to Christ and grow as disciples.

Now that we’re at the halfway point of this two-year journey, I’m asking all of us to keep pressing forward. If you’re new or didn’t participate last year, now is a great time to jump in. If you’ve been struggling to fulfill your commitment, keep trusting God—He’s faithful. And if God has blessed you more than you expected this year, maybe He’s inviting you to do even more. Kelly and I have seen God provide in ways we couldn’t have imagined, and I believe He’ll continue to do the same as we all stay faithful. Let’s finish strong, because there’s no turning back. It’s time to burn the ships.
